"Being Fruitcakey is anything that makes the world a more fun, goofy and lovely place to be."
FRUITCAKE embraces the fun and fabulousness in us all with vintage-inspired accessories! Jennifer repurposes dominoes to make interesting wrist wear, by adding either stamped images, or fabric and paper collages. They make a great conversation piece.
She loves to make use of vintage (and not so vintage) findings collected over the years to create; one-of-a-kind handbags, button hairpins, “sniffle in style” tissue holders and more. The handbags are fun because you never know what will show up in them. Last we looked she was working with some funky vinyl wallpaper!
As Fruitcake continues to grow, Jennifer hopes to incorporate original artwork into existing designs, creating even more unique pieces. Currently, Jennifer is experimenting with fabric block printing and traditional illustration.
Jennifer resides in Grafton, MA with her son and husband (a crazy toy designer). She is madly working on a new website, hunting out more fabric and trims, and moving closer to Providence.
