Kelly graduated from the Rhode Island school of Design in 2006 with a degree in Apparel Design. She started the line Im Your Present shortly thereafter and began selling clothes, accessories and jewerly online and in boutiques in the Northeast. The line includes dresses, silkscreened tops, skirts, fannypacks and jewerly. Almost all her pieces are one of a kind.
A lot of people decribe Kelly's work as rock and rollish, yet girly, and she thinks that description is perfect! Kelly creates peices that combine both her love of feminine, playful silhouettes and fabric manipulations with her own personal sense of humor and love of handcrafted details. She loves using a varation of materials and methods to make each piece unique and special- from silkscreening and embrodiering to using scavenged vintage materials. On each piece you will find special details- rhinestones, various trims, tiny charms and chains. "I make clothing and accessories that I would love to wear... and that I hope you would too!"
