The Launch at Hingham Shipyard and “New England Open Markets” brings SOWA-style show to the South Shore

The Launch at Hingham Shipyard and New England Open Markets are excited to announce the opening of the Hingham Shipyard Holiday Market taking place Saturday, November 27th and Sunday, November 28th. Over 70 New England artists and designers will be carefully chosen to present an exceptional array of handcrafted products including jewelry, handbags, baby clothes, letterpress stationery, pottery, sculpture and much more. With the SoWa Open Market now closed for the season, lovers of great art, gift ideas and more can find it all at the Hingham Shipyard Holiday Market.

Shoppers can expect to find a unique gift for everyone on their holiday list. Located at the Hingham Shipyard, home to numerous restaurants and retail stores, the Hingham Shipyard Holiday Market is sure to be a popular South Shore destination. Hours are from 10am to 6pm. Admission and parking are free to the public.

Ice Cream Showdown this Sunday (August 22) at SoWa!

 

 On Sunday, August 22nd, in SoWa, Boston, the Ice Cream Showdown will take place with Stonyfield, Toscanini's, Picco, Batch, Coop's MicroCreamery, Chilly Cow Custard, and Christina's. This will be at 500 Harrison Ave as part of SoWa Sundays from 2-4 PM.

The only thing better than sampling several different kinds of ice cream is sampling several different kinds of ice cream for a good cause. Ice Cream Showdown is an effort to raise funds for deserving local organizations Lovin' Spoonful, Share our Strength, Somerville Local First, Arts Union, and Community Servings.
